Background
FBB are experts in drilling water and energy wells, and I’ve had the opportunity to work on their web design and digital marketing. This project includes design updates to the website I originally worked on over two years ago.
Drilling wells since 1979
FBB Finspångs Brunnsborrning specializes in well drilling for water and energy wells. They are one of the many great clients I’ve had the privilege of working with during my time at Total Media. The company was founded in 1979 by Jonny Johansson and has been run by his sons, David and Martin, since 2012. They are a local business in Finspång but often send their large machinery all over Sweden.
“Brunnsborrning” means “well drilling,” and that’s their core business—but it’s not all they do. They also specialize in capturing energy from water, providing businesses and individuals with independent sources of water and energy.
Smart Design Solutions
This project included various smaller updates completed during 2022 and 2023. These updates modernized the landing page’s container code to optimize the website for speed. Other tasks included writing news articles, adjusting buttons, adding customer reviews, and more.
My favorite part of this project was creating a custom widget inspired by a design from one of their catalogs. It was an excellent opportunity to experiment with CSS and use my experience, flexbox layouts, and math to create something both beautiful and informative.

Reflections
