Leading the UI/UX Transformation
For nearly two years, I served as Fogwise’s in-house designer, spearheading their user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) transformation during a critical period. Fogwise, a Swedish market research company specializing in automated VOIP dialing solutions, was transitioning from Silverlight to HTML5. This involved:
- Revamping Existing UIs: Completely overhauling two existing user interfaces for the WiseDialer system.
- Building a New Interface: Designing and developing a brand new interface from scratch.
- Ensuring Cohesive Design: Maintaining a consistent visual language across all interfaces while preserving their distinct functionalities.
Modern User Interfaces for Enhanced User Experience
The project resulted in the creation of user-friendly interfaces:
- Light Admin Interface: A streamlined and visually clear interface for administrative tasks.
- Dark Themed Agent Interface: A visually distinct interface optimized for agent comfort during extended use.
- Customer Support Dashboard (In Progress): The initial design stages were completed for a dedicated customer support dashboard.
A Cohesive and Modernized Brand Identity
Beyond the UI/UX redesign, I collaborated on modernizing Fogwise’s brand identity:
- Color Palette Refresh: A contemporary color scheme was implemented to reflect a more modern aesthetic.
- Logo Redesign: The Fogwise logo was updated to align with the new visual direction.
- Brand Consistency: Branding elements and social media strategies were revamped to ensure a cohesive brand image across all touchpoints.
Reflections
Modernizing Fogwise’s digital presence during a significant technological shift was a rewarding experience. The redesigned user interfaces improved user experience, and the brand identity refresh strengthened Fogwise’s market positioning. Witnessing the positive impact of this project solidified my passion for design that is both visually appealing and functionally effective.
