A New Chapter for Sunsafe
2020 marked a period of significant change for Sunsafe, a family-owned business specializing in windows, garage doors, and sun protection solutions. As they transitioned to a new location, they sought to update their marketing materials, including business cards.
Striking a Balance
The challenge was to create business cards that:
- Preserved Brand Recognition: Maintained continuity with the existing brand identity for customer familiarity.
- Embraced Modernity: Reflected the new location and a more contemporary aesthetic.
- Accommodated Client Needs: Integrated all the desired contact information with a clear and legible layout.
Balancing Design with Client Preferences
While I generally favor minimalist design with ample white space, the project required accommodating the client’s preference for a more information-dense layout with larger fonts. This resulted in a business card that may have slightly less breathing room than my initial design vision, but it ultimately met the client’s satisfaction, which remains a top priority.
