Visual Narrator

Visual Narrator is a  talented photographer from the United States. Her stunning work has been featured in Essence, the Shade Room, Buzzfeed, RVA Mag, Girl Gaze and many more publications, and her career has only continued to skyrocket.

Photographer

I came across Visual Narrator’s photographic style on Twitter, years ago, and it captivated me. She has an incredibly ability to tell stories through her images, creating visual narratives that transport the viewer to different places and times. Her use of color, light and composition is masterful, and her subjects are always portrayed with authenticity and depth.

What I appreciate most about her work is the way it makes me feel. Her images evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing, optimism and beauty. They also inspire me to see the beauty in everyday moments, be as bold as she is in her use of colors, and to appreciate the fleeting nature of time.

Prints

Initally I reached out to her to see if it would be possible to get one her works as a giaant print on my livingroom wall. Speaking with her, it became immediately clear that her personality and grace were as work as her work. She had determination and drive, along with her creative vision and technical skills. Unfortunately she was too busy with her thriving career, and we were not able to find a good way to get the print to Sweden, maybe in the future she’ll sell her work online.

Website mockup

As a “thank you” for her time, and because her work inspired me so much, I made her a mockup of an idea I had for a website. She didn’t have a website at the time, and as a marketer myself, I understand the value of having an online presence to showcase one’s portfolio and attract potential clients.

Even though we only had brief contact, her kindness and artistic talent left a lasting impression on me, and I wanted to give back in some small way.

Captivating

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend checking out Visual Narrator’s work. Her talent and passion for photography is truly special, and I think now that AI art work is so readily available, it might just be the right time to support true artists a little bit more.
