A Longstanding Partnership

Sunsafe, a Norrköping-based company specializing in windows and sun protection solutions, has been a valued client since 2014. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with them on various design projects, including web design, digital marketing, and print materials.

Client Catalog Development

In 2015, after a period of close collaboration, we launched the first edition of the Sunsafe client catalog. This project involved meticulous refinement to ensure perfect alignment with the brand identity.

Employee Handbook Proposal

As Sunsafe experienced significant growth in 2020, the need for clear internal communication became paramount. To address this, I proposed the creation of a modern employee handbook and field guide. This proposed material aimed to:

  • Communicate Company Values: Clearly outline Sunsafe’s core principles and expectations.
  • Employee Benefits & Resources: Inform employees about available support and resources.
  • Cohesive Brand Integration: Maintain consistency with Sunsafe’s established brand identity.

A Learning Experience

While the proposed design for the handbook was visually appealing, ultimately, it wasn’t deemed a perfect fit for the Sunsafe brand. This experience served as a valuable reminder:

  • Client Satisfaction is Key: The ultimate goal of design work is to meet the client’s needs and enhance their brand identity.
  • Maintaining Brand Cohesion: All design elements, whether internal or external, should contribute to a consistent brand image.

Moving Forward

While this innovative design wasn’t implemented, the core principles remain valuable. The importance of aligning design with brand identity and prioritizing client satisfaction remain at the forefront of my approach.
