Background

In earlier itirations of my personal brand, when I still went by the name Laura Ljungqvist, I made a set of business cards for myself. With the confidence I had gained from growing up, and an attempt to be more fearless.

The business cards come in two versions; a light and a dark themed business card. This is a continuation on theming different branded content in either a dark or light theme. Most frequently dark theme for digital to save battery, and light theme for print to save inc. For these same reasons I ended up printing the light themed card.

Personal Brand

The brand was intended to be simple and clean, yet have the rainbow of color to connect with the colors of any client or project I’ve worked on. The business card, similar to the brand, is conservative in its use of color, except when it comes to the use of the logo and the branded line. In other words, white text on a dark background, or dark text on a white background, with a limited use of grey-scale to add variety.

Content

It was important for me to limit the information on the card. It’s easy to get carried away, and want to list all the possible points of contact, however I feel that can have the affect of being overwhelming. This is why I chose to keep it simple, and to the point;

  • Name
  • Profession
  • Email address
  • Website

This tells people who I am, what I do, how to contact me, and where to find out more about me, and hopefully a chance to connect.

Update

These cards were made under my old name, when I was still married, the website and email address printed on these business cards are no longer in use.
